What does the diagnostic fee of £90 include?
The £90 diagnostic visit includes a technical inspection and fault diagnosis of your boiler. If the fault is minor and can be repaired during the visit without replacement parts or extensive additional labour, we'll fix it there and then, with no extra labour charge. If replacement parts or more extensive work are required, we'll explain the fault and confirm the total repair cost with you before carrying out any additional work.
What if you can't fix the boiler, will you still charge your fee?
If we're unable to diagnose the fault, you won't be charged any diagnostic fee. If we do diagnose the fault but you decide not to go ahead with the repair, the £90 diagnostic fee will still apply, as this covers our time, expertise, and callout.
Do you provide any warranty following repairs?
Yes, all new parts supplied and fitted come with a 3-month warranty. This covers the parts themselves, not the boiler as a whole.
How do you take payment?
Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash, due on the day of the visit. An invoice or payment receipt will be provided.
Do you provide finance options?
Not at the moment, but we're working on introducing finance options soon, so keep an eye out for updates.
Do I need a boiler service every year?
If your boiler is still under manufacturer warranty, yes — an annual service is required to keep that warranty valid. Skipping it can void the warranty.
Even outside of warranty, an annual service is strongly recommended. It keeps your boiler running efficiently, catches small issues before they become costly repairs, and helps ensure it's operating safely.
